Rainbow Village is a nonprofit organization located in downtown Duluth. Their mission is “to provide families in domestic or economic crisis a healing environment to rebuild their lives through a transitional housing program that promotes self sufficiency. Rainbow Village’s Afterschool Program is locate in the church building in the afternoons during the school year. On Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, area churches and volunteer organizations provide a meal to the children and their parents who come to PHPC after work. Following the meal, the parents attend a class that is part of the transitional program while the children participate in games and activities.
On the third Tuesday of every month, PHPC volunteers provide the meal under the coordination of member and elder Cully Veal. You may contact her at email@example.com.
