Nursery is provided during the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship services, as well as during 9:40 Sunday school. Infants are in room A-113 and steady walkers through 23 months are in room A-114.
Church School for all ages begins at 9:40 am each Sunday morning. Signs are posted in hallways and on classroom doors to help folks know where to go.
Extended Session is provided during the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services for 2 and 3 year olds in pre-school classrooms B103-105. Four year olds and kindergartners attend worship until after the Children’s Sermon. After the Children’s Sermon parents are invited to bring them to the pre-school classrooms for their own extended session.
Worship Clipboards for elementary children, ages K-5th, can be found in baskets outside the sanctuary in an area known as The Breezeway. These age-appropriate materials help children engage in worship.
Get Ready! Get Set! Worship! is a worship education series offered each fall to 1st graders and their parents to help them learn how to worship well together. This series explores different parts of the worship service including baptism and communion (which in the Presbyterian Church (USA) is extended to all who have been baptized).
Acolytes are 4th and 5th graders who help lead worship by lighting the candles. These children attend a special worship training class.
Children’s Choirs. The children’s choirs practice on various Sundays after the 11:00 am service and sing during worship on a few occasions throughout the year. Visit our Music & Choirs page for more information.
