SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
10am: In person and Live Online
Pleasant Hill Presbyterian is comprised of people from various backgrounds, viewpoints, and beliefs. During Sunday morning worship we gather together as one body, a community with faith in Christ. Our services include heartfelt liturgies, a time of prayer, congregational singing, scripture readings, and a sermon.
The Sacrament of Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month.
Baptisms occur throughout the year when families make a request to a pastor and the PHPC Session.
The congregation also gathers for special services including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Blue Christmas, Services of Healing, and Christmas Eve.
CHILDREN ARE WELCOME at PHPC!
Children are a vital part of the body of Christ. If you would like your children to remain in worship with you for the entire service, we are happy to have them present. Our nursery is available for infants ages 0-2. Following the Children’s Sermon, you may walk your potty trained children ages 3-6 to Play and Praise in the education wing, where they will play and praise their way through the remainder of the service. The Prayground is a kid friendly worship space in the sanctuary open for elementary age worshipers. Worship Journals and Bags, which help kids engage in the service, are available to all children.
LITURGICAL SEASONS
A certain cycle of festivals and seasons is recognized and observed throughout the ecumenical church. God’s work of redemption in Jesus Christ offers the Church a central pattern for ordering worship in relationship to significant occasions in the life of Jesus and of the people of God.
