PHPC Advent 2025 – All Are Welcome!
The Advent season is a beautiful time of anticipation, hope, and community, and we invite you, your family, and your neighbors to join us as we prepare our hearts for Christmas. Whether you’re a longtime member or visiting for the first time, we look forward to celebrating this sacred season with you.
NOVEMBER 30 – First Sunday of Advent
- 10:00 AM – Hanging of the Green Worship Service
- Join us as we deck the Sanctuary for Advent and Christmastide. During worship,
everyone is invited to participate and learn the meaning behind the symbols and
decorations of the season. - 11:15 AM – Church School for All Ages
DECEMBER 7 – Second Sunday of Advent
- 10:00 AM – Worship
- Project Angel begins!
- 11:15 AM – Church School for All Ages
DECEMBER 14 – Third Sunday of Advent
- 10:00 AM – Christmas Concert & Worship
- Experience the joy of the season with a full orchestra and the uplifting voices
of the PHPC Chancel Choir. - 11:15 AM – Christmas Brunch
- Stay after worship for a festive brunch hosted by the Fellowship Committee!
Bring your friends and family, all are welcome. If you’d like, you may bring a ready-to-serve brunch or lunch item to share
(serves 8–10). No desserts, please.
DECEMBER 21 – Fourth Sunday of Advent
- 10:00 AM – Worship
- 11:15 AM – Church School for All Ages
- 4:00 PM – Longest Night Prayer Service
- Join your pastors in the prayer chapel for a gentle service of reflection,
remembrance, and comfort for those who find the holidays challenging.
Afterwards, all are invited to share a meal together at a local restaurant.
DECEMBER 24 – Christmas Eve Services
- 5:30 PM – Candlelight Worship with Interactive Nativity
- A child-friendly and joy-filled celebration for the whole family.
- 7:30 PM – Candlelight Worship with Communion
